Brass is a metal alloy made of copper and zinc. Over time, brass will oxidize giving the pieces a unique and natural patina. To delay the oxidation process and keep the pieces as polished as possible, your brass pieces will be shipped to you in an anti-tarnishing bag along with an anti-tarnishing strip. Using these to store your pieces will slow down the oxidation process. We also include a brass care card that comes with step-by-step instructions on how to clean and care for your brass pieces.
